These are fully lined and the seams are covered in bias binding. I used a cotton poplin for the lining. The pants open up in the pocket so there's no zipper and they are very forgiving for changing bodies #garmentsewing #sewsky

This morning I took the kiddo to the YMCA for a workout and a swim, then we picked up a huge bag of library books, got lunch, and then braved the grocery store. Now I'm tired and a bit sore and watching some ice skating.

Which not only means you can spread the work time, but also it develops more flavor!

I would not use it in cases where the roux is doing heavy lifting on flavor or thickening alone, but yeah it works great for things like cheese sauce and white gravy.

It's a good thing a roux still pretty much works with gluten free flour or I'd have to relearn how to cook in addition to learning how to bake.
