Also it being mid term and there being half as many cars on the road always makes for a much more pleasant commute. A big key to tackling congestion is in the school run. Mid terms and school summer holidays are the proof of this.

Have to say I really enjoyed my cycle into work today for the very simple reason of not getting absolutely soaked. Looking good for the cycle home too.

Cycling home in that was an experience. Heavily splashed by two cars. One I was absolutely certain was on purpose. Made it home. Hopefully next week I’ll need sunglasses and not two jackets.

I genuinely forgot what it looked like. I genuinely believe it has caused collective depression in Dublin.

It really is. Irish Water are digging up and replacing pipes in Swords so this is the only alternative to sitting on a bus for three hours a day. Good for the head but the rain is just killing me.

Another day cycling into Dublin City Centre and I am drenched for the third day in a row. My heart is broken with the weather.

Genuinely curious. What will DCC do with all the traffic signposts. It must be be the most concentrated area of road clutter in the country.

The only reason you do something like that is to make yourself feel better, even if it makes you look like a complete tit.

That athlete who confessed to cheating on his partner. Like why would you publicly do that? Have you not caused your partner enough distress without parading it in front of the World? The cheating is bad enough but rubbing their faces in it like that just adds so much unnecessary insult to injury.

Just a grim story. So many lives pointlessly ruined.
