No sane president is going to risk inoculating an act of the oireachtas against legal challenges by sending it to the Supreme Court. Certainly not a president who was a barrister in a former life.

An old friend once told me about meeting a Foynes staffer who told them about that week, and how the demands from Dublin for (usually once daily) weather reports grew more frequent every day until by 6 June they were supplying hourly updates.

The National gender service currently has 7.25 staff with an 18 year waiting list. At current trends that waiting list will be 40-50 years within 5 years. To bring the waiting list down to 6 weeks like it was a decade ago in 2 years would require them hiring 96 staff...

That's not how any of this works.

Obeying in advance, working towards the fuhrer..
