I've never once felt anything quite like that in my life, but I must have scared the living good because the lady spent the rest of the night asking after the hallway lights and if anyone else had seen someone down the hallway.

It never felt malicious or gave me the feeling like we should be running out. If anything, it gave the impression of an older person very upset that we were up past bed time stomping around upstairs.

At this point I think I scared them more than any ghost, I got the strangest feeling I'd ever gotten in my life. It felt for all the world that someone was looking at me from the across the unlit hall in disapproval. I never saw anything definitive, just a feeling. My whole body got goosebumps!

She was seated at the desk which sat off center of the room she didn't see it the first time, but the next time the light completely went out. It did this off and on so I stood up and stared down the hallway to see if there was some sort of light sensor.

This time I sat down facing the hallway, I watched while the lady pulled instruments out of a tackle box. She and her little girl were grabbing instruments when the stairway light flickered. I go "Did you see that!? The light flickered!"

The lady ghost hunter with us brought her little girl this year to show her the ropes. So my kid wasn't the youngest one this year in the group. Only the light to the stairway was lit and the hallway and office were dark. The windows are bare so there was enough outside light to see anything.

But the turn out this year was tiny, so it wound up that just my mother in law, my husband, my kid, and myself were in one group and the ghost hunters would move around through sections of the house. Last year was fun, but nothing really spooky happened in the upstairs topmost office. (cont'd)

Mine's not very dramatic, but this was the second time we went to the Hauberg Estate that was built in 1909. Before it's all done up for Christmas, they let ghost hunters host an event there for Halloween and my kid had such a good time last year we went again this year. (cont'd)
