360 was a blast but I had actually asked my parents for a PS3 and never wanted it to begin with. I can't really say they were wrong in the end as I did not know a single person with a PS3 so that would have definitely been a lot less fun at the time but also I wanted to play Flower so they fucked me

If my feed is gonna be talking about Nirvana the Band for the next week, I need more of you to watch the sublime crossover they did with Mega64 a few years back that went mostly unnoticed. They get a lot of mileage out of what first looks to be a simple premise and then keep going. Love it to bits.

the arc of bluepoint is very instructive:

1. respected studio for reliable, accurate enough ports, multiple collections a year
2. one remake every 3-5 years that destroys the aesthetic of the original
3. acquired. set to work on a live service game for a nostalgia based property
4. everyone fired

I've been trying to think of a way to make streaming retro games more visually interesting, do you think a live feed from a camera pointed at my CRT would be better than direct HD capture of the game? This is the only idea I have and it might be terrible

saw this movie in theaters yesterday and i genuinely had tears in my eyes from laughing too hard while watching. its the movie of 2026 already for me and will be hard to beat. if its in theaters near you you absolutely need to see it
