After receiving a dusting of snow the distant mountains are surrounded by blue sky and light clouds above. This is reflected in the still waterway below all surrounded with the browns and golds of the grasses.

Standing next to a massive rock face and one of a series for waterfalls in stunning blue light, an epic twist on Blue Hour. Guillard Glacier lies ahead, a small lake marks the termination of our advance of our 2 kilometer wet walk in. It's a relentless, a thick mist of water falls, sometimes sideways, even the camera is thankful for its raincoat. It's a magical experience. Guillard Glacier is an impromptu stop, I guess they wanted to test our rain gear. No worries there's dry clothes, a warm ship and a fully stocked bar upon our return.

A waterfall along the Aurlandsfjellet scenic route from Lærdalsøyri to Aurlandsvangen, an alternative, overland route to the jaw dropping 26 KM-long Lærdalstunnelen. It's a long climb up through stunning, almost barren beauty to this viewpoint. Our EV has dropped to 11% charge, it's a bit worrisome. A few kilometers later, the summit: We coast down the other side, recharged to 30% …I'll take it!

Cupola del Brunelleschi is 463 Steps up, it's 30°C / 86°F outside: We're climbing up a narrow circular staircase inside a pizza oven. It's a bit narrow, can be crowded / congested, but it is worth every step. Looking across the weathered ribs of Brunelleschi's Dome and roof of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower sits directly ahead of Florence's stunning skyline. Brunelleschi's Dome itself is and amazing piece of engineering, architecture and art: A definite highlight in Florence.

A bust of some dead person sits in front of the marble seating, the Olympic rings sit at the top under blue skies. The rise and run of the stairs is "nuts", no railings and many stairs are really ladders. I can't imagine moving crowds through this place without a lot of injuries. The Panathenaic Stadium is a World Heritage Site and part of the athletic and Olympic history of Greece. The stadium is constructed entirely of Attic marble.
