I always gotta ask myself: does overworking myself inspire others to try harder OR does it just enable more people to be lazy?

Either way: how do you combat the world being so lazy when comfort slop is king?

How do you push people to give just a little more effort?

A little makes a difference.

I'm mildly curious, but this aspect is something I've heard everyone say across the board.

I honestly can still pop in 2 and 3 whenever and still have fun with them.

As a guy who has been involved in music AND enjoys fighting games for decades now, if it's something you TRULY love and it's not some weird, self-esteem replacement boost for you, everything will or already is working out for you.

It'll mostly be fun and it'll mostly bring joy.

I teach music. I'm not sure if I'm a wonderful human, but I will say that while it's really not always fun and the discipline in my students is nowhere near what it was pre-pandemic, it's one of the best feelings when it all comes together for them. Seeing them gain confidence is a good feeling.

Musicians who teach kids instrumental music are actually the most wonderful humans.
