Ah that’s super helpful, thank you! I’m just an amateur when it comes to mushrooms, so I really enjoy learning from others. I wasn’t too sure what it was, but the Pluteus suggestion makes a lot of sense, it was growing on very decomposed wood too.

I’m no expert, but I was leaning more toward a waxcap than a Flame Shield, though they do look pretty similar!
