The Seahawks are trading WR DK Metcalf to the Steelers for premium draft pick compensation, per me and @tompelissero.bsky.social, as finally(!) Pittsburgh gets its big-play weapon.

Metcalf will also get a contract extension to go with the trade.

I really have nothing groundbreaking here, I wanna sign Tee, a FA rb to replace naj, and a veteran cb. No names explicitly come to mind, its just the vibes.

I want Meyer gone, and whoever's calling the defense to have it taken from them
On top of this, I'd like to switch to a pass-first approach, with screens/short passes commonly used instead of runs, fat chance tho

Idk if dan moore is an issue or if it's just the coaching, but something's fucked up. I want Pat Meyer off the staff, but it's clear they're not gonna do that, so I guess we'll move on from moore. Gimme Fautanu and Brojo on the outside, and let's remove the "both tackles pull" bullshit.

As for guys I left out, it's gonna pain me to say this, but I think it's time to let Naj walk. Unless we're giving him a 5/y contract, I don't think he'll be a good fit for us, and he could do so much better somewhere else. I love the guy, but I think he's a better fit for the Charger's style.

Mike williams is the weird one. I want to keep him, because I can tell he's got gas left in the tank, but good lord we have to actually throw the damn ball his way. His lack of usage overall does shake my faith in our offensive philosophy, because him and George could COOK if it's schemed up right.

Donte Jackson and Damontae Kazee are just good. Jackson proved we won the DJ swap, and Kazee has been a bright spot in our defense for the past few years. Realistically, we can probably only keep one of these two with our cap space, and if I HAD to choose, I'd probably go with Kazee.

I'd like Wilson to retire a Steeler, and Fields to be our future. Ideally, we get wilson on a 100m/4y contract, and get fields on a backup contract. I think those two did a really good job over the season of growing, and if we fix up our Oline, we'll be in really good shape for the future

We'll see, but I really see our draft position staying as is from now til the draft.

As for five who I'd like to prioritize, I'd want to prioritize Wilson, Fields, Jackson, Kazee, and Williams.
Warren's not a UFA, so he's not an extreme priority, but I'd still love to keep him.
Other ones I'd like to keep are Skowronek, Loudermilk, Pierre, and Daniels.
