Jesus, sometimes I forget what a shamelessly evil man he is.

Anyone remember when they said it was “evil” to connect Trump to project 2025?

At the risk of hyperbole these really may be the most horrible people to ever live.

The president just gathered the highest ranking officers in the military to tell them that he may order them to kill American citizens -- and that they better follow his orders. All in response to a series of crises that have no basis in reality.

I don't know how to yell any louder.

I guess it’s not really a shock that the “calling racism racism is the real racism” folks now claim calling fascism fascism is the cause of political violence.

Semi-regular reminder that a sane country would have already impeached and removed. But then again a sane country wouldn’t have elected a maniac criminal twice in the first place.

My issue is this: Conservative voters eventually realized Bush was a mistake, but at no point did it occur to them that the people who'd been saying that all along knew what they were talking about. Now Trump. Unless they take responsibility and make personal changes, the cycle continues.

Something I think we’re not talking about enough with all this autism bullshit is how, no matter what, it’s always blamed on the pregnant mother.

It’s like the Kardashians hooked up with the Squid Game, gave birth to a Sopranos reboot and we’re supposed to pretend it’s the West Wing.

Any necessary correction will always include elements of overcorrection.

Because people aren't precision instruments.

Reactionaries will always cherry pick isolated examples of overcorrection to try and discredit any attempts to correct injustice.

I was working on a couple different projects today and at one point realized I hadn't been online in a full two (2) hours and my immediate thought was, oh fuck, I wonder what horrible thing has happened now

Just so I'm clear:

TV host says we should kill every homeless person? No big deal

TV host says the right must "go to war" with the left? Pfft.

TV host says the government is cracking down on critics? Well, the government cracks down on him for the criticism.

Don’t tell people not to joke about serious shit. It’s a coping mechanism for some of us. It’s how we aren’t constantly screaming.

Of all the people from my youth who became cops, only one had the principles that should be required to be allowed anywhere near that job—and he hates cops more than anyone I know now.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.

Please permit me to remind you that just as the First Amendment protects Nazis, who would suppress our speech, it also protects the New York Times, which has sold out every American right and value for the mess of Park Slope potage that is false equivalency, false neutrality, and access.

Also, it sunsets in 2030, which makes the point moot.

It's pretty difficult to betray your principles when your only principle is yourself.

It’s a lot easier to understand what’s happening when you accept that this country is having a collective mental breakdown and some people are trying to fix it and others are leaning in real hard.

I would like to speak to the manager of the past ten years because honestly I am pretty dissatisfied.
