#MusicHistory On this day 1968, The Rolling Stones released their 7th UK & 9th US album Beggars Banquet. The original cover for the album depicted graffiti on the wall of a dilapidated bathroom. It was rejected by the band's record company in favor of a plain sleeve that parodied a party invitation.

Yes, it is under appreciated. It's really a John Squire album, I think. The first Ian Brown solo album (1998) would have been kool with Squire and that perhaps would have been the real second Roses album. However, Second Coming is solid and has great songs

It took me a lot of listens, but came around to loving this album. It was never going to live up to the expectations of their debut for many people and so it was dismissed.

Indeed! Not sure I can watch that series though. The film Amadeus is a Top 5 of all time for me, and I have a hard time seeing the actor chosen for the series in the role of Mozart. You'll have to tell me if it's worth it.
