So, the New York Times is now allowing the use of the word “genocide” to describe what Israel is doing, as long as it’s an Israeli using it. Far too little, far too late. The NYT will never be anything other than irredeemably horrifying to me.

What an utterly, irredeemably horrible newspaper.

As a not very successful gay male writer, I have many feelings about this, but keep thinking “don’t knock what sells.” I haven’t read the male literary lions mentioned but have read all the women. I tried Franzen, but only lasted 100p. Same with Rooney and Adichie though.

Didn’t the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 increase the top income tax rate to 39.6% for high-income earners and raise the corporate income tax rate to 35%? There’s more to it than that, but I’m not trusting this author big time.
