Of course getting upset about a country song seems fairly normal for someone struggling with dementia.

His explanation makes even less sense than leaving Shota in. If he "didn't consider" putting Soroka in, why have him warming up? Almost makes me wonder if he had the opener foisted on him by the front office, bc it's so logically inconsistent.

Why even have Soroka up? And if you're going to let him face Machado twice, why use the opener to begin with?

closing out a career of "oh brother, this guy stinks" moves by retiring so close to the season that the school has no choice but to internally promote your son whose only job has been as your assistant. you've gotta respect it (jk you don't have to respect it)

There are two ways you can consume this: β€œObama is a weakling who is tacitly endorsing Charlie Kirk because he’s not using the language and tone I would,” or β€œa professional communicator is making a point, I may not be the audience, and his primary aim may not be my personal emotional needs.”

Justice David Souter was a voracious bookman (so voracious that he had to move because his home could not structurally support all of his books). One of Souter’s former clerks, litigator Mathew Rosengart, is now sharing the justice’s β€œTop 10 Book List."

Connery is obviously better than Moore, but Live and Let Die and Golden Gun are 2 of the best 5 movies.

In Rucho, "CJ Roberts pointed to the significant reforms to redistricting that had been taking place in the states" to suggest a federal constitutional remedy might be unneeded. But rapid backsliding at the state level, including mid-decade redistricting, might render that obsolete [Richard Pildes]

Those "bigger concerns" are largely attributable to a Congress which is comprised of safe-district representatives. When the overwhelming percentage of members are not competing for the middle voter, they can comfortably skate around doing their job as long as they maintain party loyalty.

I've been saying all along there was no way they extend Tucker. Now it seems like Jed almost has to. Or he spends the rest of his life trying to square overpaying for the rental but not giving it the small boost it needed to get the team across the finish line during the lease period.

Absolutely.
I begged for another good SP add this offseason on top of Boyd. And that was before the Steele injury.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the addition would be made at the TDL. And now it hasn't.
Just an absolutely disappointing result by the FO.

It's simply amazing to me that the U.S. spent 70 years (1945-2015) constructing a post-WW2 military, economic, and social world order to its liking, only to turn around and decide it was actually the victim of this order the entire time.
