I had not intended to make it two tone but I decided I wasn’t buying any fabric, didn’t have enough black and the red is the same type of twill.

Five crab warriors finished, as well as the Crab King and his Sorcerer (with pet eel). That's all 21 crab creatures painted - although I had to cut a couple corners to get them all done in under a week!
