Allowing a repeat of that - which there would be, because a sizable minority of their travelling fans are bigots - would be to condone islamophobia.

And of course Millwall, West Ham, and Chelsea in London have groups who are equally awful.

I was at The Valley at Charlton, with my 10 year old son (so, about 15 years ago), playing Leeds, and before during and after the game the most common chant from the travelling Leeds support was a racist one about people from Pakistan (shorthand ofc for Muslims).

Electoral politics is a participation sport - if you don't bother to vote, don't expect parties to target policies at you.

I suspect the government - as well as the police, CPS and courts system - is secretly quite happy to have lost the appeal against the decision to allow the judicial review of the proscription of Palestine Action - hopefully the judicial review will strike it down, and common sense can be restored.

I agree with this.

Reform voters think all politicians are corrupt, and so expect their own politicians to also be corrupt - it's why pointing Farage's lies and corruption has no impact.
