I think what we saw was a rejection of the hypocritical status quo of centrist Democrats. Putting authentic, young and honest voices out front will get voters to the polls.

I'm worried that the Democrats will once again rely on how bad Trump is as their only campaign message. We deserve better.

I think Mamdani is proving they will. And we saw they were willing to vote for Sanders in 2016 if he hadn't been actively sabotaged by his own party establishment.

So the real question: will the party stop shooting itself in the foot and let the people and policies that voters want take the lead?
