They rewarded the poor guy by appointing him to Rize, a place that somehow had even more divorces going on.

Thinking for no particular reason about the story of one of my great-great grandfathers who was apparently a judge and who regularly grant women divorces on grounds such as "well, would you be married to him?"

You know you can just admit you misunderstood something and don't have to act like this right? You don't lose anything from that.

I was more referring to the way that centrists demand this same fealty from minority groups, not calling people centrists for not jumping on board.

It really is just like a large segment of the press got a script and despite how things have played out are refusing to deviate from it. He's deeply unpopular within his own party so unless they ban other candidates he can't win and he's going to lose his seat! How is this still going?

It's remarkable how much of the "Wes Streeting is the heir apparent/about to challenge" stuff can be traced back to before the general election and is ploughing ahead despite all the evidence this is dead on arrival.

I think it was literally the tesco's own small bottle of vodka and I really shouldn't have let it touch the midori.

It was the vodka that let me down because it was a cheap one I bought for the purposes of making sauces, but it turned out to be too rough even for that. Turns out it also ruins a cocktail. Truly fucking worthless.

I just made hands down the worst melon ball of my life, but I still drank it because I need to be rid of some of this booze cluttering up my flat.
