Incident in the pub today. Bloke in a Celtic shirt kicking off about England winning, landlord turfed him out with a boot up the arse but I don’t get it. If you live in Scotland or Ireland and have beef with England fair enough, living here and making a living here you can fuck right off.

Honestly can’t wait for tomorrow night. The footage I’ve seen so far of the gigs has looked like a celebration. I think we all need a night off from the real world atm. As an old britpop veteran it’ll be nice watching the new recruits go into the trenches. Lovely stuff.

Tomorrow, popped in the pub earlier and was speaking to a 21 year old lad who’s also going. The fire in his eyes about going was intoxicating. I think I’ll be watching the crowd as much as the band Friday.

Was also at all 4 of those gigs.

Spent the afternoon dancing in a hot sweaty basement club. I’d class it in Fitzrovia as it’s just over the Oxford Street border. I worry about this kind of thing.

I once tweeted that Cilla Black had a voice like two skinheads kicking a banjo up the A19.
A few days later I was followed by Dionne Warwick.

Also going dancing in a basement club. I really didn’t think this through.
