Really important that Zohran won an unprecedented come-from-behind victory while never flinching from his core values. Didn't throw trans people or immigrants under the bus, didn't back down on his pro-Palestine politics, etc.

It'd be fascinating if we had demographics- I get the impression that the younger age groups don't have much interest in engaging with short form, primarily text content. Cohost seemingly had similar issues trying to make not-tumblr in the 2020s.

A pot of chili. Unappetizingly Brown on brown, but luckily it tastes incredible.

Many pounds of chili mac ensconced in a casserole dish covered in melted & crisped cheddar cheese.

Possibly the best chili I've ever made, inside the best chili mac I've ever made (I have never made chili mac before)(the mac is actually cavatappi, fight me.)

I think the academy got a little mixed up this year: Emilia Pérez is a horrible movie that came out about a trans person, surely they meant to nominate I Saw The TV Glow- a movie about the horror of being trans and never coming out.

2024 was not the year of project backlog reduction I'd hoped it would be. I only finished a handful of things, and they were all new ideas; I only enlengthened my backlog. I am proud of what I accomplished, though! Finally actually doing some complete machine knitting things. Here's to 2025!
