Neighbour gave me this, it’s rather nice - definite apple bouquet, and some underlying Calvados flavours, but they’re quite overpowered by the 10.5% ABV - wouldn’t call it “brut” either, quite sweet in the mouth

There are some quote decent AF beers, they're getting better, but aside being a bit sugary, that lack the depth that the alcohol provides

It's really good, but quite heavy to drink, not so much the alcohol content, just heavy, hard to explain

Will look out for that - likely they have it in the bar I was in yesterday, will see when I'm back here in September...

Yeah, I've done it in the past and it works as I don't go out that much, and if there's beer in the fridge at home I'll drink it

And the side-effect is that I lose a load of body-fat, last year September - December I dropped from 83kgs to 69kgs just from no booze at home

I live in Belgium and IPA are available, but not as ubiquitous as other countries, so when I go away I tend to drink them, but I'm beginning to tire of them a bit

The Hopfenweiss is nice, but very heavy, first time I fine Weihenstephaner Dunkel, but I probably prefer the regular Hefe tbh...

Unertl is my favourite, but you don't tend to find it outside Bavaria

Used Monta in the UK last week, was horrendously expensive, plus 2 of the 3 chargers were not functioning

What was interesting was the Ohme wall-box at the house we rented, connected with Octopus, for which you defined a charge validity target and time, then the wall box decided…

Clever still ridiculously expensive…

So, I’ll be in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen next week, any recommendations?
