It's rare to find someone who only fits into one of these categories, it's practically all-or-nothing.

In any report of good people being victimized by ICE or cops, you'll see right wingers commenting. They reveal how giddy they are to see the cruelty they've enabled. They relish in cruelty. Can their hearts be changed? Can they be reached? Whether they can or not, they can't erase what they did.

Journalists tell the rest of us how bad things are, in hopes that institutions, voters, and regular people will actually do something about it. However there's a whole segment of people in positions of authority and "regular" people who celebrate the cruelty.

The US hasn't been on the morally correct side of an international conflict since WWII.

Being a social worker was a real career choice I had considered, until I did some research to find out how underpaid, undersupported, underfunded the position is and how overwhelmed by work and and stressed out social workers are. Like it's intentionally designed to punish people who want to do good

The average is higher, the median is what most people have when you take out those with the very most and those with the very least.

$955 is not enough to keep up with bills for even a month.
