In some cases the small
towns pretend the women's cars can't be fixed and instead falsely imprison them to care for their children, like Misery without the broken ankles. They teach them to cook and muck out stalls. Even law enforcement get involved in this group crime.

The small town men usually snark the 'rescued women' (all tonged hair, inappropriate heels and wheelie bags) about
their 'big city jobs' and true meanings of Christmas until they develop Stockholm syndrome. Gaslighting 101, Christmas edition.

There are rarely single mothers enjoying the benefit of hot men arriving on their doorstep having crashed into snowbanks on the way to their small town to save it from developers, but unending numbers of small town men 'rescuing' immaculate 'city' women from crashes into aforementioned snowbanks.

There is a worrying amount of motherless children in Christmas movies. Is Hallmark going around bumping mothers off? Is David Walliams working now for Hallmark?

A quick google informs me that after this surge, Australia provides about 4% of our beef imports, and our beef imports are about 25% of our consumption. So this headline is basically saying “anger as 0.6% becomes 1% of total” and I’m not sure that’s particularly justifiable
