I've been thinking a lot about that bumper sticker which says "everything looks like a conspiracy theory when you don't understand how anything works" and folks it's pretty obvious to me that the people in power right now have absolutely no desire to understand how anything works.

When I was a kid and I’d hear stories about bad men in history committing atrocities, I assumed that it was a small number of people that could be easily dismantled. I didn’t realize how many seemingly “normal” everyday people would stand on the wrong side of history. That is until now.

Aside from the obvious direct harm, what's so irritating is that a handful of spoiled ignorant assholes are breaking things that we all built together. As they traveled they would gather new members eventually forming

It’s sad. You’re 100% right! Not to lean into conspiracy theories because I honestly haven’t seen any that seem viable. I would not be surprised if we found out that there was some sort of interference. That may just be my way of trying to avoid accepting that our country is full of pieces of shit 🤷‍♂️

I don’t believe in taking the high road anymore. We don’t have that privilege. Because the rules that have applied to society for decades as imperfect as they have been, we’re still light years ahead of where we’re at. There are no rules anymore. They don’t matter.
