A humanoid levitating pitch black shadow with no hands and large boots. The only discernible part is its light gray face, which is flat and distorted. This is the Shade's earliest known iteration.

The Shade's second known iteration. It's a very distorted cloud with vague resemblance to iteration one's face.

The second iteration of the Shade in the mistakenly uploaded unfinished trailer, spawning in Devil's Pitstop. It shows as dark clouds and lightning bolts.

The Shade in the final game, as a void of red light with lightning.

SH Downpour - The Shade went through a few designs, starting as a humanoid shadow with a distorted face (possibly a placeholder?), then becoming just a face among dark clouds and lightning (seen in the accidentally uploaded WIP trailer) and finally becoming an abstract void of light.
