Oh man. Back when I worked at Resto they had a french-milled tomato leaf soap that I adored. Smelled so good! I may have to try that tea!

Lurker extraordinaire. I could make that.

17.10.2025 23:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've started getting them from the library first - I have so many cookbooks that I bought and then only make a few things from. this way I can read through it and see if I really would use enough of the recipes to make it worthwhile.
15.10.2025 18:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs so good. I have been slowly honing my instant pot beef stew recipe for quick stew fixes. But today I have had chicken stock bubbling all day for soup beans and kielbasa. Which I really should start if I even hope to get to bed.
15.10.2025 03:01 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Whew. Iβm team stew. Trying to learn to like more soup (actually, why I originally started following you! Lol)
15.10.2025 02:55 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you canβt fix it, lmk. Iβm pretty sure ours is a Kivik and weβve been considering getting rid of it. Itβs in decent condition but the slipcover is worn through in a few places. Itβs two cushions and a chaise on the left side. (I forget how configurable they are with respect to the arms).
10.10.2025 04:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok, this is just funny.

Is that a rope that looks like a snek under the sign, or yard snek?!? I really wish I was at the point I could plant some of these in my yard.
04.10.2025 19:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm so sorry, she was so well loved and you were both lucky to have each other.
02.10.2025 00:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0NO!
30.09.2025 19:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβll have to try those! Iβve used the Moosewood Blue Mountain Biscuit recipe for quick ones - it uses oil - and adjust the buttermilk depending on if I want them cut or drop. Mix in a tsp of Mrs Dash Garlic Herb and a handful of shredded cheese and it makes a great soup accompaniment!
30.09.2025 01:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Second in my mind only to onions frying in butter (the start of most of my familial comfort foods, lol).
28.09.2025 18:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For me itβs βThis blanket is not nearly warm enough when I go to bed, same blanket is far too warm when I wake up in the middle of the night, then same blanket is pretty ok if I just stick one foot out from under the covers.β Lol.
28.09.2025 16:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Always love a Maxfield Parrish sky day.
26.09.2025 23:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All I see are very pretty pencil shavings... lol
26.09.2025 23:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It will probably get driven more by if I feel like a real book or the kindle... I will report back - since I also tend to end up reading the whole book at a go despite best intentions, I might wait until later in the week to start one so I don't screw up my sleep schedule too much mid-work-week.
22.09.2025 19:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Good then? π I've run through all the available Wayward Children books now, took a break for Kingfisher's Hemlock and Silver, and need to decide what's next - the new Laurie King or finish the Alchemical Journeys books from McGuire.
22.09.2025 18:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have an overly ambitious food prep list for today. Will I manage it all?
21.09.2025 19:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The NeverEnding Story?
17.09.2025 04:40 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is giving me a little bit of Goya vibesβ¦ itβs been great to see more of your art!
15.09.2025 02:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah, then all of them would probably be okay!
14.09.2025 22:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0T. Kingfisher is really good, too (some have romance some not).
14.09.2025 18:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Been running through Seanan McGuireβs books this year. Wayward Children right now - very good inclusive YA, and I ran through the October Daye books (Urban Fantasy) which have some romance but didnβt feel like the focus or gratuitous and you might be able to skim.
14.09.2025 18:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ooh! I am planning to snuggle up with a pot and a book or knitting this weekend.
13.09.2025 15:58 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Us too! The ocean was coming for us today. Never been there at that high a tide (never turn our backs on it anyhow, but the sneakers were very sneaky). Saw the elk on the beach for the first time as well!
13.09.2025 03:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A picture of a haystack rock out in the ocean with two other rocks sticking up to the left of it. The sky is a fluffy blanket of darkish clouds and a bit moody, with a band of blue sky letting some sunshine in and brightening it closer to the horizon. The sand is wet enough that there is a clear reflection of the rocks in it, and the surf is further out closer to the rocks - both almost the same color as the sky.
Took the week off for 32 years of being with the mister. We werenβt able to do anything big, but weβve gone out to the Coast three times and itβs been absolutely perfect (for us, everyone else is missing the sun). My heart is full and happy. Pic for you -
13.09.2025 03:08 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Congrats! Itβs a wonderful week for anniversaries!
13.09.2025 02:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A cascade of fuchsia hangs down into the narrow space between a red shiny planter and the greyed cedar siding of a building. The stems are red, the leaves shiny and bright green with red veins, and the pendulous flowers are fat, pink petals facing up, doubled purple petals hanging down with long red stamens dangling from the centers. They are so perfect they look fake, but are not!
Saw so many beautiful fuchsias this week, but this one was so perfect I had to check it out to make sure it wasnβt just a really good fake.
12.09.2025 17:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This! I didnβt expect them to be that much better than the normal peanut butter ones but they are so addictive. The pretzel ones were better than I expected too.
12.09.2025 17:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Most definitely!
12.09.2025 16:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I hope you make it through unscathed! Have you seen Rahaeliβs posts about antihistamines and Covid? Might help.. bsky.app/profile/raha...
