Shirley is correct, and authors have the same issues with our audiobooks on Spotify and other streaming platforms. We earn less than $0.30 per stream. This is for a full novel. Spotify earns billions from subscriptions, but don't share the wealth with creators. All streaming platforms are as bad.

It's the same for audiobook streaming on Spotify. Authors are paid so poorly it's basically a 'fOr eXpOSuRe' exercise. I refuse to sell my audiobooks on Spotify. All streaming models benefit the platforms, who earn billions via subscriptions, but the content creators are an inconvenience.
