The #Skagit River which originates in the BC Cascades has now reached Major Flood Stage at the monitoring station near Concrete #WAโฆ The river still expected to rise another 12-13ft over the next several hours!

Skagit County has ordered Mount Vernon and upriver communities of Hamilton, Rockport, Marblemount and Concrete to evacuate to high ground as soon as possible.
Everyone in Skagit County living in the 100-year floodplain will likely receive an evacuation notice today.
