I suspect this is the last game Skinner will play for the Oilers

My hope is that we get a split in LA and if that happens, LA will have incredible pressure as good as they are at home, they are by a long shot the worst team on the road out of all the teams in the playoffs

I trust that Skinner (Stew) will take that challenge and rise to it, especially on the PK, if he steps up, we win even with Ekholm out, if Skinner struggles, and no Ekholm, we might be in trouble. To me it all comes down to the sv% on the PK, we can get a draw at 5x5 and get 40% on the PP

Perhaps, but playing a man short missing your top 6 guys, is manageable, till your down, and as soon as you get down the "belief" goes away very quickly. Their underlying numbers are still good, they were great, but have 97 & 29 on the PP is like a Chance Card

I personally don't see the "poor results" they are 7-3-0 in their last ten, and 6 of those games they started a man short and one of those games, they ended short 2

I will sum up by stating that this idea of holding all sides to account applies even more so to the Oilers, Nurse is a good defenseman, not perfect and certainly overpaid, but he does amazing things for this team and sometimes does some bad things for this team.
