Given that Trump got his ass handed to him by Putin, reminding that ALL THREE of his top spies have spent the past week lying about a Russian spy attempt to frame Hillary.

/6 Institutions like the Federalist Society and Heritage Institute set anti-Constitutional goals and agendas. It matters not that they are based on nonsense: ambitious but amoral legal scholars and professors design rhetorical edifices of gossamer bullshit to support them.

I admit I was fooled by the deepfake AI video of AOC that was marked explicitly marked as AI parody. But what does it say about AOC that I thought it was real?

mRNA tech is some of the coolest, most powerful, most promising scifi shit humans are currently doing. They are being investigated to help with cancers, autoimmune diseases, M.S., stroke recovery, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and high cholesterol.

I think it’s impossible to avoid this. High fixed costs and minimal differentiation. They will end up like airlines.

I think that's fair. The topic is fairly complicated and people tend to think they are "generally reasonable" so they will use centrist as shorthand for that.

I sort of consider myself to be relatively centrist, but "left centrist," and my concern with Obama was always that he really believed that purple stuff and intended to govern that way. Alas, I was correct. The centrists you're referencing were, at best, sand in the gears. They were useless.

Why a NASA satellite that scientists and farmers rely on may be destroyed on purpose The Trump administration has asked NASA staffers to draw up plans to end at least two satellite missions that measure carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, according to current and former NASA employees.

The anti-science Trumpers may be planning to destroy two working satellites that provide vital measurements about carbon dioxide & climate (and data that forecasts crop yield, drought conditions, & more). They cost $750 million to make but only $15 million/yr to operate.

If there were a Public Editor, she/he would dig into this storyβ€” and see who is telling the truth.

Lacking a Public Editor, NYT really needs its leaders, many of whom are former student journalists, to say more about provenance of this very damaging "Harvard bending the knee" report.
