Definitely. Especially since our bodies are a constant source of change. I think being a woman has exacerbated that for me. Weight gain and loss. My mental model of my body never manages to fit what's real.

It never gets better. My 24 year old still sits down and tells me every detail of whatever he is currently interested in.

I am going to stop masking sensory issues. So, starting small, I'm looking for sensory, comfy socks. I have always hated socks. Fuzzy socks are too much, soft socks slide down, the seams...too much. Any suggestions?

Does anyone else find remote communication hard? As a teen, my phone calls were "When are we meeting? Who will be there? What can I bring? Ok bye." I've gotten better at voice for games, but I still find emailing, texting, and even social media like this, very hard to do. #autism #podcast
