This is the Jellyfish Nebula (IC 443) from my spouseβs Redcat61. This is 28 hours 39 minutes total exposure time, over half of which is Hydrogen narrowband, from under Bortle 4 skies in the North Carolina mountains. I used Hydrogen filtered frames only for detail (not color).

The Orion and Running Man Nebulae! This is only about 40 total minutes of exposure. This is data from last February that I reworked, and Iβm so pleased with how well my editing skills are progressing! I get a little better every time.

I like apples. I post photos. I dig birds. I write books. The next book is THE STAIRCASE IN THE WOODS, April 2025. Yes, I'm cringe. What do you want from me, I'm a 48-year-old dad and my brain is a mouse-eaten shoebox.
