This isn’t true (i grew up next to the Weetabix factory). Their own recipes are different to the supermarket brands they also make. Whether the difference in cost is justified is between you and your tastebuds.

Ibuprofen is different to Weetabix. If you’re buying a pain killer, you are buying a drug. The active ingredient is identical in the brand and non brand version. So it makes zero sense to pay multiple times the price. Food recipes are objectively different. Buy the recipe you prefer.

The issue with VAR is not the offsides (apart from the time it takes), or even the “look again at yellow/reds, but the re-refereeing in the area which is inconsistent at best.
