He said guards stomped on his hands, poured filthy water into his ears and threatened to beat him.

They’re passing these cuts to taxes at the same time as cuts to vital programs for working people because Republicans use state power to benefit the rich (their donors). They do not care about you or “the economy.”

Watched an NYT piece about how Republicans are giving tax breaks to the ultra wealthy because they “think these tax cuts are good for the economy.”

That’s what you’re going with? Unreal.

America is beautiful, contradictory, unfinished. I am proud of our country even as we constantly strive to make it better, to protect and deepen our democracy, to fulfill its promise for each and every person who calls it home.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.
