There was shepherds pie and Guinness had. Wonderful performance art and songs and stories and dance. Away up NE Alberta we go now on the chilly winter sun.

Lunch time theater at TC O’Learys.

Back on the Max northbound but will hop off for a visit to Ruse.

And then it’s beer time. Pfriem for happy hour bites(carrot curry soup) and a lager.

No finds at the record store, but snagged a used copy of Roddy Doyle classics at Spoke and Word books.

Post sauna cortado at Good Measure.

Highly recommend Sauna Glo. Lovely relaxing experience to start our day.

Let’s do a day. Milwaukie bound for Sauna, record store browsing, and brewery happy hour. Enjoy the sun if you can this week.

It’s Cora Club Wednesday at Away Days. The bar chat is great and pizza focused. Tale of Us Pizza on site providing the slices. Happy daze.

I should have stayed in Denmark last week.

Word of the day is ‘fanfaronade’ (19th century): to strut and swagger about as if you own the stage.

The only bad thing about the metro in København is how sad it makes me thinking about having to ride the Max again next week.

Xmas day at Tivoli gardens was as chrismassy and fun a place as I’ve ever seen. We drank gløgg, ate Danish hotdogs, watched some galoppen, enjoyed the fireworks then got Burger King. Day 1 of 6 in the bag in Copenhagen.

I’m still more excited about Weaver playing again next season though.

Chicken fried baby back ribs, hot Cheeto dusted spam sliders, and a shot in a tiny cowboy boot glass. Last night we kicked off the festive season right in the neighborhood. Continues tonight at the local brewery, but first some Carabao cup action, get this feckin’ tree up, and drink some tea.

Okay, so this time I’m trying out a 5 day weekend and I’ll go without the vaccine side effects thank you. Should be more fun. But first, a wee bit of sleep. Oh yeah, that new Bohs x Kneecap jersey is brilliant. Pity I’m a Rovers fan and can never wear it. Or………

Word of the day, should you be feeling a little huffish, is ‘apanthropy’ (18th century): a love of solitude and the desire to be away from other people.

Working front half of the week nights but don’t finish until Thursday morning is giving, all week vibes. I do enjoy the commute home through town at 7am and seeing the well groomed hopelessness of the day walkers.
