It saddens me how many people fail to take joy in their environment, and are ignorant or oblivious when they see something rare or unusual.

very cool. I've seen mammatus twice (in advance of snow) and spectacular lenticular clouds once over the Tenerife caldera.
Also pressure bands in advance of a storm. Clouds are awesome.

I often enjoy a walk along the South Bank from Westminster to Tower Bridge. Lots of things to look at, pop into the Tate Modern if that's your thing, plenty of places around to grab a bite to eat and not too hard on the wallet!
