For anyone wondering - the 2.0 is an upgrade to the whole of The Wickie - anyone who owns a copy will automatically be upgraded to version 2. I do not believe in charging for updates.

Current estimate puts the release of 2.0 at the 1st of May - that gives me time to work out the kinks (hoho) and make the game as polished as I can. After the 2.0 release I will put up the roadmap for the 2.1-2.4 Releases.

Apologies for the lack of posts recently. As a one person organisation, my job is either social media or working on the update and the update won. I will be posting interesting information regarding the 7 gig patch (jesus...) and the many pages of patchnotes and updates soon.

Managed to raise FPS on ultra settings for the game by 22fps. Its sitting happily on 50fps at the moment. The current optimisation pass should raise that more hopefully. Go go profiler!

Beware fellow devs - some code I purchased was poorly optimized. Always check! In this case the 8 classes being called were running constant loops per system tick, each of those classes being called multiple times per frame themselves. Each also having tick enabled by default... #uhoh #gamedev
