Volunteering has taken me to a Christmas craft fair today, and I was not at all prepared for this sudden immersion into the cold fluids of the holiday season. The lights, the songs, etc. it’s all quite a lot!

More recent reading! The Payback, by Kashana Cauley, is a good time, a bit of a heist/caper to hit back at a student loan company and the Debt Police, with their unchecked violence, their peculiar self-help obsession, and their turquoise uniforms.

A long wait for spring training baseball, but then not so long as usual… so that’s something.
