Department of Homeland Security Director of CP3, or frat bro who thinks his last name is Italian for bukkake, Thomas Fugate:

I teach piano. One of my students told me tonight that he had a Social Studies test where he had to describe his ideal society. His words:

"Free health care. Free education. Free food and water." It's obvious to him.

Boys who can't vote are scared and angry because of young men who can.

My god. It’s fucking insane.

So where we're at now is that a *best*-case for Democrat politicians is getting arrested?

I looked up "western alienation" in the dictionary, and all I found was a picture of a baby.

Funny how when the right wing talks about fake news and problems with mainstream media, they're not talking about this.

Also funny how a couple years ago I would've said, "Funny how when the alt-right...."

Aside from the fact that this shit-stain of a funding platform still makes money off of it, I assume.

Can we rename western alienation to "Herpy derpy derpy doo, why does the big bad Ottawa want other industries to exist on the planet other than mine, goo goo ga ga"?

Seriously. Yeah, we're so ignored by Ottawa. Trudeau got me the CERB faster than Moe's office responds to my emails.

How do you look at a right-wing face and think they care about farmers? Poilievre has never worked a joe job, never gotten dirt under his nails, but he cares about the family farm? It defies logic.

What are Con. voters looking for to gauge honesty?

I don’t understand how Saskatchewanians can look at the smug, sleazy, greasy expression on the faces of Conservative candidates and think that they give two shits about working people. At least in Regina and Saskatoon there are leftists. But rural areas? Come on.

Thank God.

Now, what the fuck is with young people voting conservative?

29.04.2025 08:25 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

According to a Nanos poll, 41% of Canadians aged 18 - 34 who plan to vote plan to vote Conservative. This contrasts with 36% of voters over 55.

WTF is happening. The kids are not okay.

At a time when our country is facing threats from America, a climate change crisis, and an unaffordability epidemic, it's good to see that the Conservatives are focusing on what really matters: making sure that mass murderers get consecutive sentences. That really was keeping me up at night.

I talked with an anti-vaxxer today while volunteering in my riding. His argument was, β€œnone of my family are vaccinated, none of us got COVID. Look at how many vaccinated people died.”

In related news, 100% of chemo patients who die don’t die of cancer. It’s the chemo that gets ya.

I’ve said before le that if everybody who said, β€œthe NDP will never win” votes NDP, they’d have a shot at winning. Not this time.

Hell, it would’ve been an easy target, but he could’ve made a dual thing out of growing the NDP and beating down Trump and called it Orange Crush in a callback. Nada.

How much he was responsible for it I’m not sure, but under Singh the NDP got things accomplished during the coalition. He’s also an individual who will confront other individuals when they say abhorrent things.

But he’s no Layton when it comes to galvanising support while doing all that.

I agree, the NDP got a lot done for and with the Liberals. And Singh would be a good PM. It’s just…they’ve been so flat-footed regarding any response to Trump and fascism. Not even getting in front of the 8-ball with their plans. And they’ve tanked in the polls.

Do you know where to go for riding-by-riding tracking? I can’t find that anywhere, nor do I recall where to look from the last election.

It’s so surprising to me that we have a Conservative as our MP in my riding when our MLA (smaller riding, I know) has been NDP for years.

06.04.2025 17:27 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Well, close in Sask. Moderately close in AB. And it would strengthen the Liberal lead in other places.

Is there a way for the NDP to drop out without losing official party status? I’m an NDP voter (plus a couple times Liberal), but man. They’d make it close in places and get mad props moving forward if they had the integrity to sit this one out.

Come! We have lots of great places to explore, lots of art and culture to enjoy and celebrate, and lots of history to learn.

Also, we’ve got ocean on three sides. To listen to the White House, America has two problematic borders. We have only one.
