Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

Just good things for most people.

None of those answers fit. It's not ALL politicians, it's mostly those that have been in power, so Labour and Tories, and Libdems to a lesser extent (actually Reform too but I blame the media for overplatforming them). I don't blame independents, the new left wing party or the Greens for this mess.

We have caulk here. It's the chalky stuff you use to bridge gaps between plaster board and things like door frames. You don't generally have to use it much in DIY as it doesn't wear out like silicone.

I have Dyspraxia rather than ADHD (although I'm increasingly wondering if I have both) and I'd say a lot of my early trauma was thanks to how teachers and other kids treated me because of undiagnosed Dyspraxia. (Also just an anecdote.)

(1/2) We have been blown away by the public response to our initial DNA results. We’ve been delighted to be featured in a range of news outlets, radio programs & articles. A huge thanks to those who helped spread the word & have helped us put ME/CFS research into the public eye.

First show we saw out of 26 (unless we manage to squeeze in some more than we've already booked). Very funny show yet you also nearly had me in tears at one point too! Highly recommended.

Your pals are lucky. All the preview shows I've been too have been low numbers. Even Frisky (as in Frisky and Mannish) had a half empty venue (thoroughly recommend by the way). I noticed by the evening yesterday the number of tourists milling about had increased dramatically, so fingers crossed.
