Sorry to say I’ve been there and done that. When my parents moved to Houston in 1967 (then a much more conservative city than now), someone shot up our front windows. We never found out who it was or why they did it, so we just lived with the terror.

Some of my friends’ recent business closings have been difficult to sort out, because the personal and the economic definitely crossed paths. What a shame, for them all.
