Dave Ball was absolutely god tier, work like this din't just set the pace for the 80s but set something much much deeper in motion. Sounds as relevant now as it ever did. The opposite of retro, it's still full of as yet unfulfilled futures.

Dave Ball, one half of Tainted Love hitmakers Soft Cell, dies aged 66 Bandmate Marc Almond paid tribute, saying: "He will always be loved by the Soft Cell fans who love his music and his music and memory will live on."

Non-stop Erotic is one of my all time favourite albums - it's a powerhouse album that really documents the change in society from the 70s to the 80s. So glad I got to see Soft Cell live.
