Ok. I think this painting I started forever ago is finally done. It’s based off of Dunluce in Northern Ireland.

Whenever I have a day off I never feel like I’m spending it well enough. I’m so tired of me 🙄

I only spent a few hours in the studio but I’m pleased with the progress I made turning this desktop terrarium into a desktop botanical garden. I’ve started on the foundation and roughed in a fish pond at one end.

I’m going through this process now. I know logically I need it and it’s ok to ask for help, but I’m still struggling with the idea of needing help at all. After 40 years of “just be professional and push through” I feel like a burden now because I can’t do what I used to be able to.
