They're still making the show. We'll find out about the quality. But I think that's the only new show we're getting for the foreseeable future. Which means no Star Trek Legacy.

I would hope it does. Unfortunately, the new head of Paramount has said that there will be a lesser emphasis of Star Trek on streaming and a greater one on theatrical. And wants to make sure we get the Kelvin Universe's Star Trek 4.

You're right. They're cowards because they don't want to remain on the radar of an administration that is throwing its weight around and actually impacting what's on the screen. If any company has the pockets to make a stand, it would be Disney. But they've never stood for much anyway.

I was always of the belief that Gaiman was great at ideas but terrible at long form execution. I was mesmerized by the Smoke & Shadows short story collection, but his novels rarely ever wowed me. Sandman rarely wowed me.

It was a poorly written movie that had an advertising campaign focused around the third act reveal, deflating anything remotely interesting about the film. Saying that it suffered from not having Evans is simply inaccurately reductive.
