Okay, will let you know if something opens up. It seems we're currently on a hiring freeze (who isn't nowadays :( ), but if that changes I'll keep an eye out for something QA.

I can keep an eye out for an open QA position where I'm at, but it would likely require a lot of video game QA experience.

'Rafts' and 'Far Flung' are pretty different books... depends whether you're keen on romantasy or science fiction. Both are very much character-driven stories, so they have that in common!

I self-publish too, and even when I've had books well-received, and heard lovely comments, there are spaces of time where that dries up... often in those gaps between books where you have nothing new to offer, and you start to wonder again if it's all worth it.

It's super frustrating. But that's the pain of trying to vend as a writer, I suppose.

Yeah, she's been doing it for a bit now... we've had adjacent tables at one or two cons, her with her crochet and me with my books. She outsells me about 5 to 1, of course!
