And I, out of pure stress of not being able to see how my work affected the impact of the spirit caused me to create a rote for spirit sight in only two days, and that is how I got my first work published in hermetic libraries two years later after my escape.

A story for another time perhaps.

And she brought me to a power plant, running on oil, and told me “they bound that spirit there, to increase efficiency, and it worked, that plant is now certainly more efficient”

And i saw it, the pulsating tumor of a place, and then i was braught back to the cage, and left with my paper.

I found myself alone then in what is called the near spirit, and the wolf woman followed close behind me.

She said that while she would not bring a spirit of that kind but she could show me something. So for four days we walked in silence, well i was asking questions and she was silent.

A version of the place i was in now, but a platonic ideal of the concept of the place, it was life teeming and roiling, it was ancestors walking among the living, it was sanctify and security in all things but especially in community.

And then i was shoved into the lake.

I of course said yes, i assume i was to be drowned but i had gathered that i had been foolish so i thought that the water would be a more dignified way to die.

And this woman sat in front of the water, and began to sing, and in the clear something seemed to open on the surface.

She told me i sought to bring this spirit in, then bind it, weave it into a cocoon.

So that i may use it, wield power over it.

But spirits like these are only used if they want to be used, and they dont like anything good.

And i asked her to prove it, and she asked me to follow her into a lake.

And this woman who knew not of the theory, but had fought against spirits before said this to me “i think you don’t think you understand what your doing”

And i didn’t, but i was young and prideful. So i instantly went on the defensive, but she shut me up. And made me listen to her practical wisdom

Now i had never worked with spirits before, i had learned some enochian, i had read some theoretical texts, and that is where my knowledge was.

I was using the expanded keys of Solomon as the base, in which one sigil summoned and another ring was used to trap the summoned deamon.

She nodded “and these will be made out of powder correct?” And i affirmed, so she looked me dead in the eyes and said.

“Could you just shake the table?”

And i was appalled, and i explained, how if this was a binding circle it would have intricacies and details that were supposed to keep you safe.

And this old woman came to me, an elder of their tribe and sat with me in the cage, and, again, i explained to them the boundary i worked in, and the problems i was facing.

And the elder took a moment and said “so to break the spiral, how many have you made?”
