The solution is to read something else. Marvel's model is not worth supporting, and in fact it's very difficult to even be able to afford to do so. New issues in most series are on a twice-monthly schedule and they cost around five bucks for something you should, nay, MUST recycle after reading.

There are a lot of talented writers involved with Marvel comics today. I think the issues are editorial. There's no direction and they're just desperately chasing whatever they think is going to stick next. Then they cancel comics and reboot them ad nauseam. Not a great company, in my opinion.

I read all of the X-Men From the Ashes comics as they came out, from Uncanny to NYX and beyond, and every single time I had to read the opening blurb to remember what was going on. At first I thought it was a problem with my memory, or reading too many comics at once. But they just stink.

Even the best current X-Men comics are forgettable stories. The same goes for Spider-Man; the only interesting recent storyline I've read was the 8 Deaths of Spider-Man arc, which was fun for the most part.

I just finished following every X-Men comic and spinoff for a full calendar year. After sinking all that time into the current line I have come to a simple conclusion: It all STINKS.

Donkey Kong Bananza looks great, and I know this is a weird complaint, but I kinda think Nintendo has gone too overboard with features/ideas in new games. They've got a real kitchen sink approach when they could probably just tighten, like, half of their ideas and make an even better game with them.
