I would say it's better for roleplaying and getting immersed in the story/worldbuilding, but worse for fantasy life simming, since it's mostly *about* the story and there's less content if you want to just fuck off and do whatever.

Definitely better writing imo. But that's because a lot of Skyrim's writing is kinda flat tbh

Enderal is definitely more of an RPG than Skyrim in a lot of ways, but that does mean it's less of a sandbox. (e.g.: it has an ending, after which the game is over. Skyrim lets you keep going forever)
