I didnt grow up around my dad. My mom moved us to Florida when I was 6 or 7. I didnt understand my heritage or background until I was much older.
My dad's dad died in the early 70s when my dad was 11. I am only now starting to uncover more about that side of the family.

My mom's maiden name was Koscielniak. Translated to English its church on a hill. So for a time (and because of certain criminal activities) the family went by Churchill. Wroblewski was a wandering clan in Eastern Europe so there is possibility that it was changed due to that as well.

I really don't know. My mom & dad grew up on Grand Island. Mom's maiden name was Koscielniak.
