Traffic circles are a huge missed opportunity. I volunteered a layered planting design w/ native plants to enhance the ecological value of this one. We can't have this in the US b/c the landscape industry can't care for it, become commercialized, based on labor and chemicals rather than knowledge.

Today I’m grateful for color in our brilliant world. Having relatives who were colorblind, as some of you may be, I realize what a wonder and a blessing it is to have color vision. And imagine — many animals see an even greater range. 💛🧡

Even though not a native plant to my continent, taking in some Macro Lily is food for my soul. Plant magic.
