You're going through plenty of upheaval. It takes a toll.
Take care of yourself. X

It's classic 'abuser' language.

I didn't mean for you to get upset...
It was a just a joke....
You don't get my humour..
You're too sensitive...

He'll be telling them to smile more next.

So sorry to read this. Shingles has a reputation for leaving people feeling depressed and anxious. It's very real and very debilitating. Look after yourself, Andrea and I hope you turn a corner with this soon.

Starting the week with blue skies, chilly air and a yellow wind warning.

A plane flies overhead and the dog gently snores.

We have allowed superstition to become a word loaded with negative judgements. Is someone who believes in the ghosts of felled trees, the persistence of Wood Sprites and their revenges against the axe superstitious? Yes, but this should not be assumed as a bad thing. – Dr. M. Benn #FolkloreSunday

I became very, Very stressed about the grass this week. Of course, it wasn't really the grass.... it was everything.
We do that.

I don't personally wish to be either a leader or a follower just a comfortable, somewhat detached observer watching from a safe sideline, who's not really over stressed or involved, yet happy to learn and pick up on any useful tips. Can this be achieved.

New goal.
(I don't really like goals.)

Dog has been serviced and I'm now back in bed with a very early ( for me) cup of tea. It's cold out there.
Stay warm.

You're very good at this.

I've often found hope too painful. It dilly-dallies and shilly-shallies and you're left scrabbling around wondering where and when it'll land. If it ever does land. Most of it is still free floating out there, impossible to truly rein in.
I'd rather do without that.

I've had a full week, physically and mentally. Today I'll be chillin'.

Not sure how yet. Probably TV. Jigsaw, lots of tea and something nice for dinner.

The ' why' part is especially useful. That's where the learning happens.

I'm learning this after 57 years. Yeah, it took a while. 😏😊
You put into words how I'm functioning right now and hopefully into the future. Thanks, you're great at doing that. Honestly, you so often clarify what I can't always explain.

Very early here. Very dark.
I've just sent the dog back to bed, he's getting up earlier and earlier.

No foodies until 6 at the very soonest. I think he's sulking.

Anyway, if you're reading this have a Super Saturday and a good weekend overall.

I'll conduct an exploratory visit, just for research purposes.

I don't know. I drove past it last time I was over. I don't think I've ever been inside.

21.11.2025 20:02 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yup. That happens to me, usually around 2am. Last night I even had to open a window!

The little amount of snow that fell earlier has disappeared already. Blue skies now.

Doesn't scare me unless I need to drive or be somewhere. I got used to it when I lived on Dartmoor.

Not a blizzard but definitely snow. 😱🀣

Grass has not been cut.
I've just driven through a sleet shower.

Might try cutting some grass tomorrow. It's getting really high.

Anyway, goodnight.

Took the dog for an early walk in the garden in my dressing gown as usual.
Yup. It's definitely chilly out there.
